Kingdom Come Deliverance caught a lot of people off guard by it popularity, having sold very well on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The game also appears to have quite a few bugs, which are currently being worked on by the development team at Warhorse.
It’s fair to say that a lot of big ambitious games suffer from major problems during launch. Just thinking back to some of the top releases of the past few years, games like Fallout 4, XCOM 2 and The Witcher 3 really struggled with performance issues.
So it should come as no surprise that Warhorse are needing to make some changes. A recent Kingdom Come Deliverance patch on PC has recently been changed, following problems with one of the major quests in the game.
KCD update 1.25 has been rescinded, with the game going back to the 1.23 build following feedback from fans.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
Here’s more from Warhorse on the issues: “The latest HOTFIX 1.2.5 (the included version was intended for the future patch but it requires additional data to work properly).
“This error prevented the quest Ginger in a Pickle to start or to keep executing its internal logic properly if started in the previous version and then played further with version 1.2.5.
“We have reverted the game back to version 1.2.2
which in itself should fix this problem. Please make sure your game version is the latest one (not 1.2.5 as of this time) and simply load a save of your choosing. “We are deeply sorry this happened and we’re now making sure this won’t happen again.
“It is theoretically possible the quest Ginger in a Pickle will fail due to this mistake. But only if you already had the quest started prior to 1.2.5, made another save with 1.2.5 and load this save in the current version.
“Fortunately, we have no report of this happening to any one, nor have we managed to get into such state ourselves.
“And we tried hard! Several people were trying to break the quest for the entirety of today and did not succeed. However, the possibility is still there. If this happens to you, if the quest fails, please report it to us ASAP.
“We are now working on a preventive measure which would fix this deeply broken state as well. It will be ready for another hotfix if such hotfix is needed.” Warhorse have already confirmed that they have a lot of ideas in how they can improve the game moving forward. Update 1.3 will be released on all platforms in the coming days, and will primarily focus on bug fixes.
The studio is also working on a host of gameplay improvements, which could launch with the update. “This is the patch we are currently working on,” reads a Warhorse post.
“It hasn’t been released on any platform yet.
“It’s mainly focused on bug-fixing as we are studiously going through every player report, watching every stream we can and fixing all the bugs as fast as possible.”
The studio would then list all of its future improvements, before warning that some of the new features wouldn’t necessarily be available in the next update.
