
Lewis Hamilton was dominant last season as he collected his fourth world title making him Britain’s most successful F1 driver of all time.
Verstappen enjoyed some success, winning two races and finishing sixth overall in the drivers standings.
While the Dutchman is likely to be a contender to Hamilton next season, he insists he would get more “satisfaction” winning a World Championship from a gruelling campaign as opposed to clinching the title with races to spare like Mercedes did.
“Lewis [Hamilton] is very talented,” Verstappen told Mobil 1 The Grid.
“Some people need to work up to their team-mates but he doesn’t really need that.

“But still, like in Mexico, I also really like to dominate races.”
The new F1 season gets underway on March 25 at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
