“She comes to Lucifer at the top of the [fourth] season because she wants to be who she used to be, but really, she just wants to be who she was with him,” he continued.
“And so what we found very quickly was, okay, Maze is looking for love and finds the perfect woman, and then the tragedy is that this woman finds the perfect woman for her, too.”
“But Eve is not in a place where she needs that, because what she needs to do is really figure out who she is outside of being with anyone,” he told AssignmentX.
