Describing the immediate aftermath, the actress recounted her experience on the podcast “1 on 1 With Jon Evans,” labeling it as “an absolute living nightmare.” She recalled, “It resembled any ordinary day, a routine we had repeated countless times. The storm appeared distant, we were on the boat, and everything seemed normal. Then, instantaneously, everything irrevocably changed. Normalcy ceased to exist, and there was no predetermined course of action to follow.”
Prince acknowledged the rapid response of those present during the incident, noting, “Everyone on the boat reacted incredibly swiftly to the situation.” She further detailed the fortuitous timing of a passing police vessel: “The police boat coincidentally happened to be navigating nearby at that precise moment, purely by chance. Consequently, they were able to transfer him onto the police boat.” Reflecting on the circumstances, Prince expressed a sense of acceptance, stating, “In my heart, I believe absolutely nothing else could have been done. And I must accept that this event transcends my understanding and current comprehension.”
