Sarah Jessica Parker teases behind-scenes pics for ‘And Just Like That’

Sex is officially back in the city.

On Thursday, Sarah Jessica Parker teased the start of production on “And Just Like That” — the much-anticipated “Sex and the City” revival — by sharing cryptic images outside of character Carrie Bradshaw’s now-iconic Greenwich Village apartment building.

“I’m thrilled and terrified,” she wrote in her understated post, piquing immense interest from nostalgic “SATC” fans, who flooded the comments to share their collective excitement about the news.

The peek into Carrie’s world continued on Friday when SJP followed up with photos from the kickoff table read — including images of cast members’ scripts — captioned “1st Table Read. Got here way too early. Nerves all a wonderful jumble. X, SJ”

After SJP posted the initial script, a number of celebrities — including “Will & Grace” star Debra Messing, comedian Amy Sedaris, Bravo honcho Andy Cohen and “Friends” alum Lisa Kudrow — offered congratulations in the comments. Meanwhile, “SATC” co-star Kristin Davis confessed that she was running behind schedule for the meet-up, writing, “I’m coming ! Got stuck in traffic !” (What — she couldn’t just send a text?)

Some fans also expressed how much the show meant to them.

“I can’t even begin to express how happy this makes me feel! I’ve watched the show and the movies 100 times over,” one user commented. “Hell I might restart today! Lol I am so excited for this!!!!”

The visual reveals follow months of casting updates after HBO Max officially announced the reboot in December. On Wednesday the network divulged that more men from the “City” — Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson and Evan Handler — will be returning to join previously announced actors Chris Noth and John Corbett. To help make up for the loss of series regular Kim Cattrall — who will not reprise her role as sexy publicist Samantha Jones — the show additionally added Tony winner Sara Ramirez as “a nonbinary, queer stand-up comedian who hosts a podcast on which Carrie Bradshaw is regularly featured.” Ramirez is among several actresses of color who were added to the cast.

No premiere date has been announced for the 10-episode limited series.
