Emmerdale cast: Maya Stepney star Louisa Clein in blurry leaving do pics as she bows out

Louisa Clein took to Instagram to reveal her Emmerdale leaving gift as well as snaps of her saying goodbye to her famous colleagues. The Maya Stepney star said it was “hard” bowing out of the long-running drama, after first landing her role last year. The actress shared more than one blurry snap with her 21,000 followers, branding them the “best team I could ever dream of”. It comes just hours after her alter ego was sent prison for a year for sending explicit messages to teenage Jacob Gallagher (played by Joe-Warren Plant), however it remain uncertain whether she will be seen on screen again.

Louisa was seen posing in a Tottenham Hotspur football shirts, which was covered in signatures.

“Signed by all my wonderful cast members,” she captioned it. “This personalised Tottenham shirt was indeed my farewell gift from the best team I could ever dream of.

“This job was beyond my wildest dreams and the people I met and will hold on to, my angels. Thank you to every single person who has been there through this journey…”

Liv Flaherty star Isobel Steele was one of the first to reply, writing: “I miss you!!! You’ve been nothing but a pleasure to be around. So talented. See you in July.”

Matty Barton actor Ash Palmisciano wrote: “Miss you lots already! Well done legend! That’s what you call smashing a role x x.”

While Jessie Dingle star Sandra Marvin also responded: “You’re absolutely just the best babes! Missing you loads, but definitely see you soon.”

Louisa then shared a screenshot of a TV with Leeds written across, alongside: “Farewell for now Leeds,” where the soap is filmed.

“Love you,” Tracy Metcalfe actress Amy Walsh told her in the comments.

She went on to pose for a selfie with the sister of Kimberley Walsh and Roxy Shahidi, with the trio appearing to be in high spirits.

Isobel went on to gush about Louisa in view of her own Instagram fans: “Goodbye @louisaclein.

“Nothing but admiration for powering through those 4am starts, long trains and arriving home just in time to give your littles ones a goodnight kiss. Had the best time time with.”

“Right back at you @isobelsteelee. You are magnificent,” she told her, alongside a photo of them beaming away.

Louisa added: “Saying goodbye is always hard but this is what I come home to… And I really couldn’t have done any of it without this gang by my side.”

She shared a picture of her husband Jeremy Brier, who she wed in 2011, and their three children.

Prior to Emmerdale, Louisa appeared in the likes of Holby City, New Tricks, Casualty and Judge John Deed.
