
PS4 system update 6.02 appears to be causing problems for some PlayStation 4 owners.
Released earlier today, PS4 firmware update 6.02 is said to “improve system performance”.
However, according to a new report on MP1st, PS4 firmware update 6.02 might actually cause more problems than it fixes.
Linking to a recent Reddit thread, PS4 users have complained about multiple issues since downloading the update.
Some have complained about the console crashing, others are having problems with the audio, while some are experiencing visual flickering.

Fans were recently warned against opening a message that could temporarily damage consoles.
A particular string of characters is hidden within the message that can cause the PlayStation system to be spun into a crash loop.
Sony has since fixed the problem, so it’s worth downloading the update if you’re worried about having to reset your console.
If you’re unsure about your console’s safety, you can also try starting your PS4 in Safe Mode.
The news comes after a PSN outage hit PlayStation users.
Gaming and social features were affected on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. Web services also experienced problems.

Fortunately, the issues were fixed overnight, meaning PS4 users were once again able to access their games.
