PS4 update 6.02 WARNING: PlayStation download problems REVEALED

system update 6.02 appears to be causing problems for some PlayStation 4 owners.

Released earlier today, PS4 firmware update 6.02 is said to “improve system performance”.

However, according to a new report on MP1st, PS4 firmware update 6.02 might actually cause more problems than it fixes.

Linking to a recent Reddit thread, PS4 users have complained about multiple issues since downloading the update.

Some have complained about the console crashing, others are having problems with the audio, while some are experiencing visual flickering.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

The problems appear to be easily fixed, and there’s no proof it’s directly linked to the update or just a coincidence.

Despite minimal patch notes, the update does, however, make one crucial fix for PlayStation 4 owners.

Fans were recently warned against opening a message that could temporarily damage consoles.

A particular string of characters is hidden within the message that can cause the PlayStation system to be spun into a crash loop.

Sony has since fixed the problem, so it’s worth downloading the update if you’re worried about having to reset your console.

If you’re unsure about your console’s safety, you can also try starting your PS4 in Safe Mode.

The news comes after a PSN outage hit PlayStation users.

Gaming and social features were affected on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. Web services also experienced problems.

β€œYou may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features,” Sony explained.

β€œOur engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.”

Fortunately, the issues were fixed overnight, meaning PS4 users were once again able to access their games.
