Frozen: NEW SONG for Elsa revealed – as musical arrives on Broadway (WATCH)

The track, called Monster, is sung by Elsa in the second act of the production.

Performed by Caissie Levy, the song is a moment of self-doubt in the second half of the show.

It’s about the conflict she fears in herself with regards to her newly-discovered powers.

“Has the dark in me finally come to light? Am I a monster?” she asks.

Frozen: The Broadway Musical began its previews yesterday (February 22), with reviews expected after the official opening night on March 22.

New songs may also be expected in the next movie, Frozen 2, when it releases in cinemas in November 2019.

The first movie broke a vast array of records, becoming the 10th highest-grossing film of all time and the highest-grossing animation.

Starring Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell, it also became the best-selling Blu-ray of all time in the US, and won two Academy Awards.

A holiday featurette called Olaf’s Frozen Adventure was released last November to poor reviews.

Frozen is playing on Broadway now.
