There is only one Infinity Stone still unaccounted for.
The smart money has been convinced by a number of clues that it is in Wakanda. The fact that a major battle with Thanos’s forces was shown in the Infinity War trailer lead most to believe this is where the sixth stone is hidden.
After all the African kingdom has been shielded from all eyes (human or otherwise) for centuries. It has unimaginably advanced technology. Its rulers can commune with the dead.
All of this surely points to the Soul Stone?

Black Panther is the final Marvel movie to be released before Infinity War so it was expected that it would also reveal the location of the glowing orange stone.
It did not.
Director Ryan Coogler explained there was a very powerful reasn for this and in the process also debunked a major theory about the source of Wakanda and vibranium’s mysterious power.
Coogler told IGN: “I love the Infinity Stones as much as any comic book fan, it’s just Wakanda already has its thing, which is Vibranium.
“For us, that was special enough, so to throw in something like another special thing didn’t feel right. It felt like we should stick with our one MacGuffin for the country and explore that, let that be the important thing because, frankly we didn’t need to have another piece like that.”
NOt only is teh stone not (currently) in Wakanda, it clearly sounds like there is no link between teh Soul Stone and vibranium or the mystical powers of the Wakanda religion and kings.
Many fans had suggested that perhaps the Soul Stone had crashed into Wakanda inside that huge asteroid containing vibranium, this giving the metal its extraordinary properties.
There was also the belief that the inherent mystical powers in the soil and flowers in the sacred places could be linked to the Infinity Stone.
Coogler seems to debunk all of tehse ideas.
Perhaps the Stone is in Wakanda but its people don’t realise or maybe it will be brought to Wakanda during Infinity War? It is most likely that Marvel has one last surpise up its sleev and all will be revealed in just a few months…
