Yesterday a teaser trailer dropped the bombshell that George Clooney’s character in the last movies – Danny Ocean – appears to be dead.

Bullock’s character was seen standing outside his gravestone, which appears to show he passed – or will pass – in 2018.

But will he make a surprise appearance nonetheless? Time will tell.

The last Ocean’s Trilogy – itself a remake of the 1960 film – was a big success, with part one, Ocean’s Eleven, releasing in 2001 to the tune of $450.7 million at the box office.

Ocean’s Twelve (2004) generated $362.7 million, and Ocean’s Thirteen took $311.3 million in 2007.

Ocean’s 8 is released in summer 2018.
