Beautiful helicopter pilot records her aerial adventures online

Thrilling pictures show private helicopter pilot, brand manager and state patrol dispatcher, Christina Nguyen from Minneapolis, USA, fiercely posed with a rifle before preparing for take-off. Another shot shows Christina concentrating on perfecting her target practice.

Exhilarating video clips show Miss Nguyen, 22, who has been flying for two years now, taking to the skies in her helicopter. She flies Robinson R22 and Robinson R44 helicopters.

“I became a pilot because ever since I was a kid I would always point out planes and helicopters that I saw in the sky – I never grew out of it,” she said.

“Flying a helicopter feels like being on top of the world. Being in complete control of your aircraft, the altitude, speed, and visiting places you’ve never seen before.

“The view will always be the greatest perk. Getting to see the world from a different perspective and ultimately being in control of that perspective is the best thing.

“I love being able to look at a map and point out a destination then just make a flight plan to see it. Everything is literally in your own hands while in the air.

“In my pictures, all I see is bits and pieces of my dream coming true the further I get into my training. I see the improvements in my manoeuvres and myself becoming a better pilot.”

Through her Instagram, Miss Nguyen hopes to reach out to other female pilots and aspiring pilots to find AvatrixLife, a programme to help promote women in aviation.

“I want to convey the message that anyone, any gender, any race, any height or build can do whatever they dream of doing,” she added.

“I have had some adolescent girls reach out to me already eager to learn more about aviation and filled with passion, it just makes me excited to be able to help.

“Fortunately, I haven’t met any issues regarding being a woman in aviation, if anything it helped me reach out to other women who potentially want to be in the same thing.

“The only down fall is being the only woman who attends the safety seminars in my state.

“I get amazing feedback from people on Instagram and lots of suggestions on what to post next whether it be a different and more advanced manoeuvre or a new place in Minnesota they suggest I explore.”
