Arsenal train ahead of Liverpool clash but why does Alexis Sanchez look so happy?

The Gunners head to Anfield on Sunday as they look to recover from their disappointing defeat to Stoke last weekend.

But the defeat didn’t look to be playing on the minds of Arsene Wenger’s star men as they were put through their paces at London Colney today.

Alexis Sanchez in particular looked very happy on the training field as he continues his recovery from an abdominal injury.

Wenger has yet to make a decision on whether the Chile international will feature against Liverpool but has confirmed he is available for selection.

Sanchez has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Emirates as he enters the final year of his contract.

But Wenger insists his star man is entirely focussed on life at

“He has always been focused on his job, he loves to play football and I don’t think he is too disturbed by all the [external] noises that happen,” Wenger said.

“Players at that level are used to it now, some deal better with it than others but I don’t think he is too bothered by that.”
