NBA sensation Tacko Fall has signed a two-way contract with the Boston Celtics, and will spend the first half of the upcoming season playing in the G-League.
Fall, who was signed by the Boston Celtics after this year’s draft, has become something of an internet sensation due to his height.
Standing 7ft 7in tall, the 23-year-old is one of the tallest men in the world.
As a result, he became a fan favourite during summer league for his effectiveness in the paint and his standing dunks.
Fall played for the team during summer league and pre-season, and was subsequently signed to a two-way contract.

However, he will be able to spend 45 days of the season with the Celtics, provided there is no change to his contract.
Speaking after the Celtics’ blowout win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, with Fall scoring four points in the 118-72 demolition, Fall expressed his happiness at being in Boston.
“I’m not the type of person that really likes to move around a lot,” he said.
Fall was signed by the Celtics after going undrafted, but spoke about how well he’d managed to gel with the team.
“I feel really comfortable here,” he continued.
“I’ve gotten close to all the guys on the team; everybody, the staff, I get along with everyone.
“I’m fortunate to keep my journey here.
“It’s always better to be on the court than be on the bench.”
Fall was likely to be the Celtics’ 15th man this season, so giving him the two-way contract allows him more game time in the G-League.
