Angel Di Maria is Barcelona’s top alternative target if they cannot sign Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool.
Barca are furious with PSG for their hostile £200million signing of Neymar this summer.
But the transfer means PSG now need to raise money urgently in order to comply with FFP.
That is according to Sky Sports presenter Kaveh Solhekol, who claims FFP could greatly help Barca in their pursuit of a new playmaker.
“Paris Saint-Germain need to raise money to comply with financial fair play rules. Di Maria is 29 now and the former Manchester United winger is valued at £45m,” Solhekol said.

Di Maria has endured a mixed stint at PSG since his £44m move from Manchester United two years ago.
Neymar’s arrival and the expected signing of Kylian Mbappe means there is little space for Di Maria in the first team.
Julian Draxler also faces being sold in order to reduce competition for places and raise some much-needed funds.
Barca initially complained to UEFA over PSG’s signing of Neymar, claiming no club could spend £200m in one go and not break FFP rules.
But they may now have to work with the Ligue 1 side in order to get a deal over the line for Di Maria.
Liverpool’s Coutinho remains their first option but the Reds have refused their latest £118m offer for the Brazilian.
Coutinho wants to join Barca, while former Real Madrid playmaker Di Maria is also supposed open to a switch to the Nou Camp.
