The 50-year-old star already has an Emmy and a Tony and now only needs to win an Oscar to get his EGOT, after being awarded his first Grammy. Jackman was unable to attend the ceremony last night in LA, but celebrated on Instagram. The star filmed himself watching The Grammys on TV as The Greatest Showman won the award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media. Jackman won over Call Me By Your Name, Deadpool 2, Lady Bird and Stranger Things.
Jackman was seen cheering in celebration with his wife Debora-Lee Furness.
The actor is also reported to open this year’s BRIT Awards with a song from The Greatest Showman’s soundtrack.
A music insider told The Sun: “Brits bosses did everything they could to sign up Hugh.
“He may not be as cool as the younger stars performing on the night, but he will certainly be the most popular.”

According to the Official Charts, the soundtrack has matched The Beatles Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band with 28 non-consecutive weeks as UK No 1 album.
The Fab Four’s much-loved record logged its time at No 1 between June 1967 and February 1968, as well as having another week at the top in 2017 with its 50th-anniversary reissue.
No doubt The Greatest Showman will go on to overtake The Beatles’ impressive run.
The soundtrack’s unprecedented success previously matched Adele in March last year.
