Fiona Wade, who plays Priya Sharma in Emmerdale, revealed her boyfriend Simon Cotton had got down on one knee to propose, five months after confirming their romance.
The 39-year-old actress said it was an easy answer and immediately said yes to her now fiancé.
The soap regular uploaded a sweet snap of herself and Simon embracing each other whilst standing in a living room to announce the exciting news to her 53,800 followers.
She captioned the photo: “Two days ago this beautiful man asked me to be his wife.
“There has never been an easier answer to a question… Yes!”

Fiona first announced she was in a relationship with Simon, who briefly played Home Farm client Hugh Bryant on the show, in July.
The star uploaded a loved-up photo of them together on Instagram, where she could be seen holding her beau’s head.
Fiona gazed into Simon’s eyes whilst they held hands and both beamed away at each other.
Back in March, the actress seemingly wanted to keep her love life under wraps and told The Sun she was dating an “actor and writer” but did not disclose his name.
She reportedly said: “I’m with someone right now. He’s an actor and writer based in London.”
Fiona added: “It’s fairly new, we’ve been together since last year and he’s a very wonderful guy, but I’ve kept it quiet.
“I just wanted time to get to know him – he’s very special.”
Her exciting news comes after her co-star, Michelle Hardwick, who plays Vanessa Woodifeld in the soap, announced her engagement to her producer girlfriend Kate Brooks last month.
