Everybody should keep their eyes on Tom Holland over the next 24 hours. The young British star has a habit of “accidentally” leaking Marvel information, although it’s becoming increasingly clear it is yet another clever marketing tool for the MCU. After months of speculation, the Avengers Endgame first trailer arrived yesterday, which would make another huge drop very unlikely under normal circumstances. Except, Captain Marvel already released a major trailer this week and Sony is about to present a comprehensive look at their 2019 releases this afternoon – and guess who is currently swinging out at the front of them all?
CCXP in Sao Paulo Brazil is the final important Comic Con of 2018.
Not only will Sebastian Stan and Brie Larson be headlining a Marvel panel there today at 3.30pm local time (5.30pm in the UK) there is a massive Sony event happening later in the day.
Advance sneak peaks and leaks have already revealed that Spider-Man costumes and marketing are in place but it is clear Marvel is being very careful about any overlap with Avengers 4. Apparently logos on Spidey’s suits have been removed or obscured so as not to reveal anything to do with his character that may spin out from the events of Endgame.
More will be clear when the expected trailer launch takes place during the Sony presentation.

US commentators are already expecting the Far From Home trailer to be shown at some time during that hour, although there is some doubt whether it will go straight onto the internet or be held back for the cinema release of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse next week.
Either way, the trailer has received its classification from international boards and the running time has already leaked online. Everything is in place.
SPIDER-MAN FAR FROM HOME TRAILER RELEASE DATE AND RUN-TIME REVEALED
The Sao Paulo event is an increasingly important one for all the Hollywood studios, especially those with superhero rosters. Warner Bros and DC Universe will have two separate presentations on Sunday and Shazam’s Zachary Levi will attend.
Netflix also has a major presence.
As for Spider-Man, don’t expect any trailer to reveal how he is alive after turning to dust in The Snap. Far From Home will be released in cinemas two months after Avengers Endgame debuts at the end of April 2019 and any potention spoilers for the first film will be kept out of Spider-Man 2 marketing until after then.
