Harry Kane is engaged to his childhood sweetheart Kate Goodland, who he met at Larkswood Primary School, in the Chingford area of London. The couple have been in a relationship since 2012 and got engaged on July 1. He told Esquire magazine, “We went to school together, so she’s seen my whole career. Of course, she’s finding it a little crazy. I think she’s even been in the papers a couple of times taking the dogs out.”

The couple also have a one-year-old daughter called Ivy and Kate gave birth to their second daughter Vivienne in August this year.

Who is Harry Kane?

Harry Edward Kane was born in Walthamstow, on July 28, 1993, which makes him 25-years-old.

He started playing football while attending Chingford Foundation School.

Kane then played for Ridgeway Rovers at the age of eight, the same club at which David Beckham also started his career.

Harry was given the opportunity to meet his idol when he was 13 after he attended the launch of the Beckham Academy in Greenwich, in 2005.

He was soon scouted by Arsenal and spent a year at the club’s academy.

Harry Kane had an unsuccessful period at Watford in 2004, when he joined the academy for a brief trial.

When he was 16, he signed a scholarship contract with Tottenham in 2009.

Kane also spent time on loan at clubs including Leyton Orient, Millwall and Leicester.

During the 2014/2015 season, he scored his first Premier League goal for Tottenham against Aston Villa and finally got his breakthrough – scoring 21 goals in total.

The next season, he finished as the Golden Boot winner after beating Sergio Aguero and Jame Vardy with 25 goals.

Kane also won the Golden Boot in the 2016/2017 season, netting 29 goals – but fell behind in the last season with 30 goals, losing the Golden Boot to Mohamed Salah.

He is only the second English player to win the Golden Boot in a World Cup.
