Galaxy S10 is expected to succeed the Galaxy S9 and is presumed to be unveiled by Samsung at the start of next year.
Samsung has made a tradition of showing off the next-generation of its S-line flagships at Mobile World Congress (MWC), a technology show that takes place in Barcelona annually, and the Galaxy S10 has been predicted to follow such a trend.
Rumours surrounding the Galaxy S10 have pointed towards it radically reducing bezels even further than currently present on the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.
Furthermore, the hardware has been rumoured to arrive in three models this year.
The first two are expected to be standard and Plus models while the third has been claimed to be a more affordable version of the product, according to a recent report from Bloomberg.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.
The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
The outlet, citing people “familiar with the matter”, emphasised the cheaper model of the Galaxy S10 would be designed to “appeal to the widest range of consumers”.
Moreover, it was iterated the “standard” Galaxy S10 phone would come with a signature Samsung curved OLED display.
But most notably Bloomberg’s sources stated the hardware will arrive with “almost no bezel at the top and bottom”, suggesting the S10 will present more of a radical redesign than the S9 did from the S8.
It was also declared the flagship would have three cameras on its rear, however it was not detailed what the function of each lens would be.
Galaxy S10 will come pre-installed with Android 9 Pie, the sources added.
It is presumed the hardware will flaunt Samsung’s newly-showcased One UI skin over Google’s operating system that was recently shown off at the firm’s developer conference in San Francisco.
During its keynote at the event, Samsung insisted its new interface has been designed to allow for easier one-handed use overall.
And now it appears another rumour surrounding the Galaxy S10 has surfaced and it appears the device could be set to ditch a huge Galaxy S9 feature.
Renowned tipster, Twitter user Ice Universe, recently insisted the forthcoming device will not come with an iris sensor that is present on the current Galaxy S9, allowing for face unlocking.
They said: “Yes, the S10 cancels the iris sensor and the ultrasonic fingerprint is enough to replace it.
“Compared to optical fingerprint sensors, the S10 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is faster and has a larger recognition area, and 30 percent of the screens may be recognised.
“In 2019, at least half a year, S10’s ultrasound and new screen technology are Samsung’s exclusive.”
The sensors on the front of the Galaxy S9 allow the user to choose between three variations of facial recognition.
The first is iris scanning that requires the user to line their eyes up with the camera for detection.
However, S9 owners can also choose between standard facial recognition or Samsung’s “Intelligent Scan” functionality that presents a hybrid of iris and face scanning.
The South Korean tech giant’s iris scanner was first showcased on the Galaxy Note 7 before it was recalled.
However, if the tipster’s claims are true, it appears Samsung is set to favour in-screen fingerprint unlocking as the main method of accessibility for the Galaxy S10.
