If the new iPhone X looks this good Apple fans are in for a treat

Apple sent out media invitations to an event at its Cupertino campus this month that is presumed to lift the lid on the next generation of iPhone.

The invite sent from the tech giant did not give many hints as to what could be revealed.

A gold circle with the words “gather round” was shown ahead of the keynote which will be held at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino.

Shortly after this official announcement an alleged image of two new iPhones was revealed on 9to5Mac, showcasing a familiar iPhone X design in a new gold coating.

The publication insisted the image shown was not a mockup, hinting instead it has obtained official marketing material from Apple.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

Most notably, the image suggests the American tech giant is planning to release a larger-sized iPhone with an all-screen look.

Two gold iPhones can be seen in the picture, but one is noticeably larger than the other.

This appears to add credence to prior rumours that Apple is planning to introduce a colossal 6.5-inch iPhone this year in addition to a direct successor to the current 5.8-inch iPhone X.

And now fans of the trillion dollar company may have got their best look at new iPhone X models.

A new video from ConceptsiPhone shows renders of the new hardware based on the purportedly leaked image from 9to5Mac.

The two flagships can be seen boasting an all-new gold colour and the size difference between the 5.8-inch device and the alleged 6.5-inch can be seen in more detail.

In addition to bringing two new premium iPhone’s to the table, Apple has also been said to be planning the debut of a new, cheaper iPhone that will forgo some premium features in exchange for a more affordable price tag.

The device has been rumoured to feature an LCD display rather than the OLED present in the current iPhone X.

Moreover alleged prototypes of the hardware was shown off by YouTuber Marques Brownlee with only one camera sensor, suggesting the device will shun a telephoto lens to keep costs down.

It has also been suggested the cheaper model could be made available in a multitude of different colours that will not be seen in other new iPhone X models.

Publication Macotakara previously declared the model will sell in white, black, flash yellow, bright orange, electric blue and taupe finishes.

Market intelligence company TrendForce has claimed the direct successor to the iPhone X and the 6.5-inch iPhone will come with 4GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

Meanwhile, the cheaper LCD iPhone is said to come with only 3GB of RAM and up to 256GB of memory.

All rumours will presumably be put to rest at Apple’s forthcoming event in California on September 12.

Express.co.uk will be covering the showcase live.
