New iPhone X 2018 looks set to be incredibly popular ahead of release

Apple is widely expected to show off three new iPhone models at a hardware event next month.

Express.co.uk has predicted the company will pencil-in September 12 as the date it will discuss the future of iPhone.

The first new model is presumed to be a direct successor to the current iPhone X.

This means it is likely to retain the same 5.8-inch screen size, footprint and all-screen design present in the current flagship.

However, the internals of the hardware are likely to be supercharged, meaning performance overall should be greatly heightened.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

Apple is also expected to improve the dual-camera system of the iPhone X this year.

And the American tech giant has also been rumoured to be planning the introduction of a larger iPhone X model that could be dubbed the iPhone X Plus.

It has been speculated such hardware could boast a monstrous 6.5-inch screen – such a panel would mark the biggest ever put on an iPhone.

Most notably, Apple has also been rumoured to be planning the launch of a cheaper iPhone that could retain a premium fit and finish, but may forgo some features in order to reduce manufacturing costs.

This has been said to include fitting it with an LCD panel, a single rear camera sensor and less RAM.

But it appears the next batch of iPhones could be incredibly popular with consumers, a new report has suggested.

Loup Ventures, a research group, insisted it surveyed 530 consumers in the US to gauge their interest in upgrading to a “newer iPhone” this year.

The firm declared 48 percent of current iPhone owners plan to upgrade their device within the next year.

Loup Ventures’ report read: “Heading into next month’s iPhone announcement, we surveyed 530 US consumers regarding their intent to purchase the upcoming phones.

“This survey showed a surprisingly high intent to upgrade, suggesting 48 percent of current iPhones owners intent to upgrade to a newer iPhone in the next year, compared to 25 percent in June of last year.”

It added 19 percent of Android smartphone owners plan on switching to Apple’s ecosystem within the next year.

One of the biggest highlights from the survey was the amount people that plan to pick up the iPhones that are presumed to be announced next month.

Loup Ventures insisted of those planning to get an iPhone, 42 percent of them intend to get one of the latest models.

This compares to 18 percent that opted for an iPhone X, 16 percent for an iPhone 8 and 24 percent that chose a different iPhone entirely.

Apple fans that are excited about upgrading their device will not have to wait long to see what the next set of iPhones will look like.

The trillion-dollar company is expected to detail the future of its smartphone line at its Cupertino campus next month.
