Privately educated from the age of 11, Susannah had a close relationship with her father Joseph Constantine, an Old Etonian pupil whom she claims to have learnt her style from.

A couple of unsuccessful business ventures followed, including a failed website called Ready2shop.com and a book called Ready 2 Dress.

However, the pair started presenting popular show What Not To Wear from 2001 and 2006.

They later went on to sign a deal in 2006 for ITV show Trinny & Susannah Undress… They were in 2007 said to have dressed over 5,000 women.

But how much has Susannah made through this fruitful career? Her net worth is said to be £5 million, according to The Mirror.

This is made up from her presenting roles, endorsements, writing and reality television appearances.

She will receive a further £25,000 as her Strictly salary, according to The Sun, rising to £100,000 if she wins the show.

Susannah is married to Sten Bertelsen, whom she wed in 1995. The pair have three children together.

How does Susannah’s net worth compared to fellow Strictly contestant Nick Leeson’s net worth?

Nick Leeson, 51, is best known as the infamous banker who brought down Barings Bank.

At his peak in the early nineties, Nick is believed to have earned bonuses of £130,000 on a salary of £50,000.

However, through a series of unauthorised and fraudulent trade deals, Nick directly caused the collapse of Barings Bank in 1995.

What is Nick Leeson’s net worth? He is worth $3 million (£2.3 million) at present, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

This is made up largely of his book sales and his salary as Head Educator at Bizintra, a trading academy.
