Galaxy Note 9 release – Samsung is offering £400 off this new smartphone

announced its new at a major Unpacked event last week with it arriving packed with new features and upgrades.

This latest flagship hits stores next Friday with fans of this phablet set to be treated to a device with a huge 4,000mAh battery, faster processor and up to 512GB of internal storage.

A tweaked design now means the fingerprint scanner is placed in a more convenient position and there’s some major changes to the unique S Pen stylus.

This upgraded digital pen now features Bluetooth technology which means it delivers an entirely new way to use the Note.

With just a click, it’s now possible to take selfies and group pictures, present slides, plus pause and play video.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

If it’s good photography you want then you’ll find Samsung has stuck with its dual-lens camera.

However, this double snapper now has improved low light capabilities and extra features such as Scene Optimiser and Flaw Detection which can tell when an image is blurry, the subject blinked, there is a smudge on the lens, or there’s backlight impacting the quality of the image.

Other highlights include a water-resistant design, wireless charging, the inclusion of a headphone port and the signature curved Infinity display which covers almost the entire front of the device.

The Galaxy Note9 will be available starting August 24 in the UK from Samsung.com and select retailers.

It will launch with colours: Midnight Black, Lavender Purple, with matching S Pen, and Ocean Blue with a Yellow S Pen.

Clearly, this an incredibly powerful phone that raises the bar when it comes to performance but all that technology doesn’t come cheap.

The Note 9 starts from £899 for the 128GB model and rises to a wallet-busting £1,099 if you opt for the 512GB variant.

That’s a lot of money and it seems Samsung is obviously aware that this high price could put buyers off.

Luckily, the Korean technology firm is offering a big discount for those happy to trade in their old devices including a huge £400 off the Note 9 if you have a Note 8.

There’s also £350 off this new phablet for those happy to ditch to their iPhone 8 and anyone with a Galaxy S8 Plus can also get a £300 reduction.
