Arsenal star Sanchez was keen to leave the Gunners this summer, with Manchester City his best option.
Arsenal and City agreed a £55m transfer fee on deadline day but the deal fell through when the Gunners failed to sign replacement Thomas Lemar from Monaco.
And the full extent of Sanchez’s proposed contract at City has been revealed.
The Daily Star Sunday claim Sanchez was set to become City’s highest-paid player.
He would have banked a cool £275,000 base salary even if he didn’t play, with bonuses taking that wage up to £325,000 a week.

On top of that City had agreed to give Sanchez a remarkable £8m signing on fee, the Daily Star Sunday claim.
That would have equated to a bonus £30,000 per week over the duration of the five-year contract.
Sanchez is currently on international duty in Chile but is expected back at Arsenal next week.
He has 10 months remaining on his contract and will be free to discuss a move to a foreign club as early as January.
