Sonic Forces pre order bonus and Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One release date details

The Sonic Forces release date has been confirmed for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One fans.

The new game from Sega will be arriving on November 7, with players able to put their money down on a copy now.

Sonic Forces pre orders have gone live, as well as a new bonus available for those that decide to splash their cash on the Special Bonus Edition.

The limited, physical version of the game is available to buy now and will likely sell out pretty quick.

Sonic Forces allows gamers to build their own character, and the bonus edition will provide a few more options in this category.

That’s because it will include bonus Sega/Atlus Pack DLC, which will provide outfit options from the likes of Shadow the Hedgehog, Persona 5, Jet Set Radio, Super Monkey Ball, Nights, and Puyo Puyo.

The Bonus Edition of Sonic Forces also includes these items: four art cards and a Forces-themed skin for whatever console controller you’re using.

The Sonic Forces pre order pages can be found on both Amazon and Game.co.uk, with prices differing depending on platform.

“Speed through and fight hordes of robots as Modern Sonic, enjoy the fast paced side-scrolling action of Classic Sonic and run across iconic zones defeating enemies as your own custom hero,” the official game description teases.

“Fight through a world destroyed by Dr. Eggman and a powerful new villain in Sonic Forces, the new fast-paced action platformer from the team that brought you Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations.

“Sonic Forces lets you speed through rolling ruined landscapes as Modern Sonic, catapult past perilous platforms as Classic Sonic, and use powerful new gadgets as your own Custom Hero Character.”

Sega will be hoping to repeat the recent success of Sonic Mania, which debuted earlier this year to great reviews and top acclaim on all platforms.
