Jose Mourinho is interested in signing RB Leipzig star Marcel Sabitzer for Tottenham in a deal worth around £45million.
The Spurs boss was particularly impressed by the midfielder when his side were knocked out of the Champions League by Leipzig last season.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Mourinho recognises that Leipzig could want to sell soon as Sabitzer’s value in the transfer market will only decrease with his contract expiring in 2022.
They report that he wants to make a £45m bid for the Austrian if Barcelona act on their interest in Tanguy Ndombele after his fine start to the season.
Sabitzer can dictate play from the middle of the pitch and has also chipped in with three goals and three assist so far this season.

He’s vastly experienced with more than 200 appearances for the club to his name having joined in 2014 from Rapid Vienna.
Last year he impressed to the extent that he was named in the Champions League team of the season.
Sabitzer is a valuable member of Julian Nagelsmann’s side and Leipzig are third in the table, two points off leaders Bayern Munich.
Spurs meanwhile, may want to strengthen in January having recently slipped up with a draw against Crystal Palace and a defeats against Liverpool and Leicester.
