Star Wars boss Kathleen Kenendy has just dropped a huge bombshell abou the future of the franchise.
While fans are frantically trying to figure out who Rey’s parents are and whether she will turn to the Dark Side, the filmmakers are already looking beyond this current trilogy.
Specualation is still rife about future Obi-Wan Kenobi and Boba Fett spin-off Anthology movies, but Lucasfilm are already focussed on crafting the next stage for four beloved characters from the current movies.
Kennedy casually dropped the huge revelation into a recent interview with the Youtube Star Wars Show.
Kennedy started talking about the Lucasfilm and Disney story group of writers who are responsible for maintaining the cohesion and timelines of all the various Star Wars stories on screens big and small.

She said: “We’re sitting down now and we’re talking about the next ten years of Star Wars and we’re looking at narratively where that might go.”

Kennedy added: “Future stories beyond Episode 9 with these new characters, Rey, Poe, Finn, BB8… The possibilities are endless.”
This huge revelation immediately throws up tantalising questions.
Does this absolutely confirm that all three of those humans will survive to the end of this current trilogy? Much more upsetting, though, is the implication that one major new character will not…

Otherwise why would she not have included him in the list?
