OnePlus 5T release date, specs and price LEAKS online, here’s everything we think we know

A bevy of new details about the rumoured OnePlus 5T have appeared online.

Following the leaked promotional image, , fresh details about the specs inside the phone have surfaced.

The OnePlus 5T has purportedly appeared on Chinese benchmark tool, AnTuTu.

The benchmarking software is used to rank performance between different hardware devices and operating systems.

AnTuTu now includes benchmark results from a model dubbed OnePlus A5010.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

For comparison, OnePlus 5 was listed as A5000 and the OnePlus 3T (the iterative mid-cycle update from last year) was referred to as A3010 on AnTuTu, this seems to all-but confirm the existence of the OnePlus 5T.

OnePlus A5010 purportedly includes Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM. There’s also 128GB of storage in the model listed on AnTuTu.

It’s unclear whether this the standard configuration, or whether this will simply be one of the options available to buyers.

According to the AnTuTu benchmark result, the OnePlus 5T will have a 1,920 x 2,160 resolution display with a 18:9 aspect ratio.

This tallies with a number of previous whispers we’ve heard online in the last few weeks.

Finally, AnTuTu lists the OnePlus 5T as having two 20-megapixel cameras, most likely referring to the dual-lens set-up on the back of the phone.

OnePlus 5 has a 16MP wide-angle lens coupled with a 20MP telephoto lens.

According to the AnTuTu data, the OnePlus 5T will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo.

Online retailer Oppomart this week listed a pre-order page for the OnePlus 5T – which seems a little premature given that OnePlus has yet to confirm the existence of the upgraded handset.

However, the pre-order page has some interesting tidbits about the new smartphone.

The retail site lists both a 64GB and 128GB model of the OnePlus 5T, with delivery of the new flagship smartphone expected in late November.

The 64GB model is listed as $549, roughly £418 converted, while the 128GB variant will set you back an extra $100, around £495.

Both phones will purportedly include 6GB of RAM, which is less than the 8GB listed in the AnTuTu benchmark test.

Like all rumours, it’s worth taking these leaks with a healthy pinch of salt.

However, it is looking increasingly likely OnePlus plans to make an announcement ahead of the holidays.
