Melania Trump has slashed White House spending since moving into the White House after she became First Lady in November 2016, reports have claimed.
The former model, age 47, has cut costs drastically.
The Slovenian-born First Lady, who is now a US citizen, cut the spending put in place by former First Lady and wife of Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, 53, by a third.
Despite the fact that Melania is used to the life of luxury, having been married to billionaire property tycoon Donald Trump since 2005, she is thrifty when it comes to public spending.
Melania Trump employs four members of staff at the White House, who have a combined salary of £368,723.

“She also wants to be mindful and responsible when it comes to taxpayer money.”
