Manchester United news: Fans hail Phil Jones for impressive performance against Leicester

Marcus Rashford and Marouane Fellaini both scored to help Manchester United to a 2-0 win over Leicester at Old Trafford.

It’s the third win on the bounce for Jose Mourinho’s side.

But it was defender Jones who impressed many fans today, with some calling for him to be named Man of the Match – but Rashford took that honour.

Supporters took to social media to sing Jones’ praises.

“Phil Jones was pure inspiration today,” one fan tweeted.

Another said: “Think Phil Jones has been absolutely incredible for us. Hopefully he doesn’t get injured.”
