ITV Celebrity Big Brother hosts break silence over couple’s split moments into live show

Celebrity Big Brother fans were left speechless as hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best announced the separation of two co-stars moments into the ITV show. On Tuesday night (April 22), Will and AJ returned to the helm for another live eviction as they presented the reality show outside the infamous house.

Addressing the audience as well as the viewers at home, the hosts gave an update about what’s been going on over the last few days. They revealed that for 2024 winner Jordan Sangha and his co-star Henry Southan have separated after 16 months together. Minutes into the show, Will said: “A twist more shocking than former Big Brother stars Jordan and Henry breaking up. I know!”

Fans at home were left in disbelief when Will gave the relationship update online as viewers flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their surprise online.

One user penned: “Not Will mentioning the Jordan and Henry split” as another agreed: “Are the Jenry fans actually up in arms about the split mention on the show?” A third echoed: “Not the Jenry breakup being referenced 2 minutes in.”

A fourth devastated viewer added: “Will announcing the Jenry break up on the main show after he was in the hot tub with them literally nine days ago and everything seemed fine.”

The shocking split was announced on Tuesday (April 22) by Jordan and Henry as they took to Instagram to share the sad news with their loyal fanbase online.

Henry wrote: “After a lot of thought, Jordan and I have decided to go our separate ways. It’s incredibly sad, and we’re both hurting, but we know it’s the right step.

“We’re so grateful for the love and support you’ve shown us – thank you. Please give us some space as we figure things out privately.”

Meanwhile, Jordan wrote his own statement, which read: “An unfortunate announcement. After many times, memories, and precious experience, Henry and I have parted ways. I want to thank everyone who has supported us. We will always remain close friends. Cheers.”
