He further added, “Having everyone here to help and to meet our baby girl has been wonderful. My father, stepmother, and grandchildren also visited to see her, which brought immense joy. This is the longest break I’ve taken from my career since I was self-booking shows back in 2014! It’s been incredibly valuable to be home, to embrace this phase of life, and to cherish time with my fiancée and our new daughter!”

The couple has lovingly named their daughter Paisley Leanna, a touching tribute to King’s late sister, Leanna, who passed away in April 2020.
“Yesterday was an exceptionally difficult day. We bid farewell to my beloved sister, Leanna,” the country music artist conveyed via Facebook at the time of her passing. “It still feels surreal. My bandmates, who have been with me on the road for years, also became her brothers.”
He continued, “I deeply love my family, and I cherish my sister. I will miss you every day.”
In announcing Paisley’s arrival, the singer noted that “it feels fitting to honor her with my sister’s name on the 5th anniversary of Leanna’s passing.”
“She possesses the same vibrant spirit, I can already sense it,” he remarked. “We also decided to enhance our little family by adding a puppy! Now, along with our other Rottweiler, Zad, we have the best of both worlds – a family of five!”
Excitement for Parenthood and Future Plans
The couple’s anticipation for their baby was first shared in January.
“I’m about to become a father,” King had earlier revealed to Us. “I am now responsible for a life, for my family. This has profoundly changed my perspective and influenced my songwriting. There’s a newfound happiness in my music now that wasn’t always there.”
Now that their daughter has arrived, Warthan expressed to Us her immense joy in “settling into parenthood and raising our baby girl.”
“Our careers will allow Paisley to grow up immersed in the music industry, and I eagerly anticipate building our dreams with her alongside us,” the new mom added. “We intend to continue traveling, showing her our favorite places, and embracing the delightful chaos of our lives. We’ve also begun planning our wedding for next year.”
