Giants Bolster Wide Receiver Depth with Addition of Zach Pascal
The New York Giants have further reinforced their wide receiver unit by agreeing to terms with free agent Zach Pascal, according to a source.
Veteran Wide Receiver Joins Giants
Pascal, a 30-year-old veteran, brings seven seasons of NFL experience to the Giants, having previously played for the Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles, and Arizona Cardinals.
Pascal’s Recent Role
While with the Cardinals last season, Pascal primarily contributed on special teams and did not record any targets as a receiver.
He participated in all 17 games for Arizona but saw limited offensive action, playing in just six percent (68) of offensive snaps.
Return to Receiving Role
Pascal’s most significant contributions as a pass-catcher came in 2021 with the Colts, where he recorded 38 receptions.

Pascal represents the second wide receiver acquisition for the Giants in two days.
On Friday, the team signed Lil’Jordan Humphrey, further solidifying the depth chart behind starting wideouts Malik Nabers, Wan’Dale Robinson, and Darius Slayton.
Quarterback Situation Remains Fluid
The Giants continue to evaluate their quarterback situation.
The team recently added Jameis Winston, who joins Tommy DeVito on the roster. Speculation remains around the potential signing of veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is reportedly considering his options. Additionally, the Giants possess the No. 3 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, which could be used to select a quarterback.
