As one of the group sheepishly mutters ‘sorry’, the guard quips: ‘Perfecto. Perfecto, my friends. Muy bien.’

As the lads stand around in their swim shorts looking worse for wear, the uniformed guard looks at his watch and says: ‘Six in the morning, seven in the morning.’

He then explains that families with young children had been unable to sleep because of the racket they were making.

He adds that several guests had called reception about the Brits’ unruly behaviour as the lads continue to apologise awkwardly.

Before leaving the room, the guard can be heard warning the tourists: ‘Tomorrow in the morning, in the manager…’

One commented on the video: ‘Haha, this guard is class. What a guy.’

Another joked: ‘Me after putting “advanced English” on my CV.’

And a third wrote: ‘I think they understand him perfectly.’
