Howard Stern blasted actor Johnny Depp for ‘overacting’ during his televised defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard.
Stern, 68, was speaking about the trial on Monday’s episode of his syndicated Sirius XM radio show, where he branded the 58-year-old Depp as a ‘narcissist.’
The talk show host added that he thought he would want the trial televised because he thinks he can talk his way out of anything.

He added that Donald Trump is, ‘the biggest narcissist I’ve ever met in my entire life,’ while adding why he thinks Depp is, ‘a huge narcissist.’
‘He figured, “I’ll put this on TV and because I’m so persuasive and because I’m so smart, I’m such a wonderful guy,”‘ as Robin added he thought, ‘I could act my way through anything.’

‘You know, I gotta tell you, he’s wrong. He shouldn’t be putting this on TV in any shape,’ as Robin added, ‘He’s trying to save his career. I don’t think this is going to help.’
‘That’s what narcissists do, “I will charm the pants off of America at the trial.” No you won’t! This will not go well. It’s not going well for you, it’s not going well for her. It’s not going well for anybody. You sound like two battling children,’ Stern explained.

He then mocked them sounding like two petulant children as they flung accusations back and forth, adding, ‘It’s just coming off really badly.’
‘Johnny Depp testified in court for two days last week. Two days. Think about that, lots of room to embarrass yourself. Two full, f***ing days!’ Stern said.
‘First of all, his difficulty in speaking the English language is fantastic…And the accent. First of all, isn’t he from like the South of the Midwest? Johnny Depp was born in Kentucky. Does that sound like a guy from Kentucky?’ Stern added.

The former couple, who were married from 2015 to 2017, began their legal saga in 2019 when Depp sued Heard over a 2019 op-ed in the Washington Post.
The $50 million lawsuit was met with a $100 million counterclaim by Heard.
The trial began earlier this month in Fairfax, Virginia, which follows Depp losing a libel lawsuit to The Sun.
