Novak Djokovic will stay in Australia at least until Sunday with his appeal to the courts adjourned until early next week.

Djokovic was held by Border Force for several hours after an issue arose with his visa application.

Australia Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, confirmed on Thursday that Djokovic had his visa revoked.

“Mr Djokovic’s visa has been cancelled,” the PM said.

“Rules are rules, especially when it comes to our borders. No one is above these rules. Our strong border policies have been critical to Australia having one of the lowest death rates in the world from COVID, we are continuing to be vigilant.”
