Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter to rage at BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker, over latter’s interview with English cricket commentator and former international player Michael Vaughan this morning. The ITV star, 56, questioned why the BBC presenter hadn’t touched upon the subject of Azeem Rafiq’s historic anti-Semitic comments, which he apologised for last week.
In view of his 7.9 million followers, the former newspaper editor questioned the Strictly Come Dancing star’s interview.
Responding to Dan’s tweet, Piers wrote: “Why did you not even mention Rafiq’s own proven racism?
“Does the BBC not consider his anti-Semitism to be as serious, or of significant relevance when it comes to assessing his credibility as an accuser?”
The media personality was replying to a tweet the newsreader posted earlier this morning.

Dan told his 731,200 followers: “Exclusive interview with @MichaelVaughan at 830 on #BBCBreakfast this morning.
“He says sorry for the hurt former team-mate Azeem Rafiq has suffered.
“He talks of regret about previous offensive tweets but denies making racist comments,” he ended the post with.
Piers’ tweet comes day after he took to social media to defend Vaughan after the BBC announced that he had been axed from covering this year’s Ashes.
The sportsmen said that he was “incredible angry at himself” as he said sorry to the Jewish community for his remarks.
Addressing the allegations against Vaughan, the BBC’s statement read: “While he is involved in a significant story in cricket, for editorial reasons we do not believe that it would be appropriate for Michael Vaughan to have a role in our Ashes team or wider coverage of the sport at the moment.
“We require our contributors to talk about relevant topics and his involvement in the Yorkshire story represents a conflict of interest.”
The BBC’s statement came after cricketer Azeem alleged that Vaughan had made a racist comment 12 years ago.
