Kristen Stewart doesn’t ‘give a s–t’ if she wins Oscar for ‘Spencer’

Kristen Stewart doesn’t care if she wins a coveted Oscar for her role as Princess Diana in “Spencer.”

The 31-year-old’s portrayal of the late princess of Wales has garnered much critical acclaim; however, she’s okay with not getting the gold.

“I don’t give a s – – t,” she said about the awards on Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast.

“The Oscars are such a funny thing. There are so many incredible movies and performances that barely get seen. It definitely says something about where we’re at as a cumulative presence — what we’re looking at, what we care about,” the “Twilight” actress continued.

“I really appreciate that something that I was involved in has ignited such a large conversation,” she added. “We don’t make movies to not connect with each other.”

The Pablo Larraín-directed drama follows Diana in 1991 during the Christmas holiday in Sandringham alongside estranged husband Prince Charles and their kids — princes William and Harry — plus Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family.

Diana’s former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, recently spoke out about Stewart’s portrayal of the “People’s Princess” and even praised her performance.

Wharfe served as Diana’s personal protection officer from 1989 to 1993, and he was her bodyguard at the time when the movie takes place.

“Out of all the people who have played Diana over the past 10 years, she’s the closest to her,” he told People about Stewart’s acting. “She managed to perfect her mannerisms.”

Wharfe also explained how hard it was for Lady Di to be present during the Christmas holidays and stay strong for her boys.

“It was purgatory for her,” he continued, adding that she often “confined herself to spending time in the kitchen with the chef or with people like me, in the hope that time would while away, and she could get back to London.”
