Apex Legends DOWN: EA server issues following big Apex update

Apex Legends servers are down tonight for gamers who recently updated their game on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Developers Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that they are looking into the issues, which appear connected directly to today’s patch.

The new Apex Legends update brings several big changes, including a new limited-time event, as well as a lot of background tweaks.

Legends characters have been buffed and nerfed, and it appears something else has happened that has left gamers unable to play tonight.

It’s unclear how long it will take for the Apex Legends server issues to be fixed or if gamers will have to download a new patch.

The latest on the situation reads: “

It looks like Rampart got to tinkering early… We’re currently investigating an issue causing Apex Legends players to not be able to load into a lobby after updating to the 10.1 patch. Updates to come as we have them.”

MFL…

A message detailing today’s Apex Legends update as these details, telling fans: “Welcome to the Evolution Collection Event. Unlock event-limited cosmetics for Wraith, Octane, Pathfinder, Fuse, Bangalore, Rampart, and Lifeline that give a glimpse into what our Legends could become with time and technology on their side.

“Meanwhile, our resident modder is showing those plonkers who’s in charge with the Rampart Town Takeover, Big Maude. Check out her mobile shop, parked between Lava City and the Geyser. It’s sure to be a popular POI for the rest of Emergence.

“While the brick-and-mortar location might be in Battle Royale, Rampart’s bringing her entrepreneurship into the Arenas too in “Rampart’s Arenas Extravaganza,” with special discounts meant to inspire players to change up their usual loadouts.

“For all of her hard work, Rampart’s getting a “Problem Solver:” a brand-new Heirloom pipe wrench, complete with a gumball dispenser. Who could ask for anything more? Oh, well – how about an upgrade to Sheila?”
