Radio presenter Gemma Atkinson, 36, has hit back at her followers on Instagram after she was inundated with worried messages after eagle-eyed fans spotted her daughter with a dummy. The fitness star, who shares Mia with her Strictly Come Dancing fiance Gorka Marquez, 30, told how she refuses to “deprive” the toddler of the pacifying device and instead allows her to choose when she wants it.
Filming herself in her car before she headed to work, Gemma clarified her stance on the divisive dummy to her 1.7 million followers.
She said: “I’ve had loads of messages from people about my video this morning saying, ‘does it not bother you that Mia’s got a dummy in?’
“‘Are you not worried that she’s still got a dummy?'” Gemma continued, expressing her fans’ worries.
But she quickly revealed that she had no objections to the device, which is designed to soothe young children.

Gemma burst out: “B****y hell, she’s two!
“I’m not worried , she wants her dummy, and what? She’s a baby!” the Hollyoaks star exclaimed.
“No, it doesn’t worry me at all,” Gemma clarified.
“If she doesn’t want it, she doesn’t want it. When she does, she does.
Ahead of defending her daughter’s use of a dummy, Gemma gave her followers an update on her morning before she took Mia to nursery and travelled to work.
“Small wins, high-five!” Gemma said to Mia earlier, before the tot high-fived her mum.
While Mia appeared in the shot with a dummy in her mouth, Gemma explained why she was celebrating “small wins” in the Atkinson-Marquez household.
“Trained, dressed, dressed, breakfast done,” she revealed, before Mia interrupted.
