The North Korean leader is said to be spending time on his refurbished boat as the country continues to struggle with famine and Covid. Photographs obtained via Google Earth showed the huge barge docked on a private beach at his mansion in Wonsan.
The vacation complex features a basketball court and a private beach and train station, according to satellite pictures.
Mr Kim’s boat was anchored at the property shortly before noon on Monday.
However, it is not confirmed he had been travelling aboard the boat, NK News reported.
According to the news outlet, anyone in Mr Kim’s close circle could have borrowed the 260ft barge.
