Rod Stewart's wife Penny Lancaster puts on leggy display on romantic getaway with rocker

Sir Rod Stewart has whisked his wife Penny Lancaster away for a romantic getaway this week following the easing of travel restrictions amid the coronavirus pandemic. The couple, who tied the knot in 2007 and share two sons – Alastair, 15, and Aiden, 10 – are enjoying a child-free break in the sunshine.

Penny, who turned 50 in March, put on a very leggy display when she posed for a picture with her spouse on arrival at their stunning destination.

She looked radiant in a red animal print mini dress and heels which drew further attention to her famous pins.

The Loose Women star wore her blonde tresses loosely over her shoulders and enhanced her natural good looks with elegant make-up.

Her husband, 76, opted for a blue shirt and patterned waistcoat for their outing, which he teamed with coordinating trousers and trainers.

“Time alone, time to reflect #romanticgetaway,” Penny captioned the social media snap, in view of her 112,000 followers.

She did not reveal their location in her post.

Many took to the comments section of the picture to share their thoughts and compliment the stylish pair.

“Rod is as always dressed impeccably & he is coordinating with the table!!” one follower pointed out.

Yesterday, Sir Rod took to social media to share his delight as he embarked on his first holiday since lockdown.

The Maggie May hitmaker hired a private jet for the occasion.

He could be seen standing in front of the chartered plane, which said Big Dog One on the side, in his social media snap.

“Person happy to see the sun #holiday,” he captioned the photo, which he shared with his 471,000 followers.
