The Walking Dead fans were treated to six bonus episodes in season 10 and they have been airing on AMC. Sadly, the season finale is due to air on April 4, but fans were delighted to hear it would aim the spotlight at Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan). What will happen in Here’s Negan?
Here’s Negan is one of the episodes to share the same title as its comic book counterpart.
The episode has been directly adapted from the source material and fans have been keen to see Negan’s vulnerable side.
Morgan’s wife, Hilarie Burton, was cast as Negan’s wife Lucille and viewers cannot wait to discover the couple’s story on screen.
The episode will see Carol (Melissa McBride) take Negan on a special journey in the hope it will reduce tension.
This causes Negan to open up and reflect on the life events that led him to the present day, and he comes to a conclusion about his future.

The trailer for Here’s Negan has been released and actor Morgan spoke to Rotten Tomatoes TV about what to expect.
He said: “It’s a perfect time for the Here’s Negan story and now that Hilarie was introduced as Lucille, I think everybody got super excited about that.”
Burton added: “I might be biased but I always enjoyed the levity that Negan brought to The Walking Dead. So I would love to know what makes that dude tick.” Morgan replied: “How does this man become the man that he is?”
In the trailer, fans are treated to scenes with Negan and Lucille sharing romantic moments together.
But they will already know his life is turned upside down when his wife dies, and she has to be killed before she reanimates.
The death of his wife lit a fuse in Negan and it is what ultimately caused his destructive behaviour.
He is heard saying: “I am starting to think that I am capable of damn near anything,” and fans see him winding barbed wire around his iconic baseball bat.
Sharing their thoughts on the trailer, one fan said: “I think it’s very satisfying how a character we actually should hate (for killing many beloved characters) is now probably the fan-favourite number one.
“Carol, Daryl and Maggie have been around like 10 Years and sure they’re all amazing characters, especially Daryl, but they’re not quite this “Negan Level amazing”.

“And the more we see from his past, the more we will see he has his reasons for becoming what he has become.”
Another fan added: “I love Negan. It is going to be the best episode of the season. I kind of miss the old Negan.
“I liked how Negan was in the 7th and 8th season. TWD is just trying to take his shine away. LOVE NEGAN. LOVE Mr Jeffery Dean Morgan.” [Sic]
A sneak peek for the episode has also been released and it shows Negan digging outside as a walker approaches.
While he is digging he finds his baseball bat, which he named Lucille, then fans are taken back 12 years into the past.
Viewers then see Negan tied to a chair with a bag over his head, and he says to a mystery man: “You have got to let me go.”
Fans have come up with a theory suggesting Negan had been captured while Lucille was still suffering from cancer.
She may have died before he was able to reach her, which is why he becomes so resentful.
One fan predicted: “Negan is definitely burning his original Lucille at the end of the ep. A new man.
“My prediction is due to Negan being captured by that biker gang, he won’t get to say goodbye to Lucille and will find her dead.
“Negan will take revenge by returning to the bar and bashing the leader with his original bat Lucille. He will kill most of the other bikers and the surviving ones will be the original Saviors.”
The Walking Dead season 10 comes to an end on April 4.
