Manchester United have added Darren Fletcher to their coaching team as they push for the Premier League title. He joins Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Michael Carrick, Mike Phelan and Kieran McKenna as the Red Devils look to win trophies.
Fletcher was a favourite in the final years of Sir Alex Ferguson and enjoyed a great career at Old Trafford.
The Scotsman made 340 first-team appearances between 2003 and 2015.
Commenting on the appointment, Solskjaer said: “Darren has the United DNA running through his veins and he knows exactly what it takes to be a Manchester United player.
“He is at the start of his coaching career and his experience both on and off the pitch along with his winning mentality, commitment and hard work will be a great addition to the staff.”

United return to action against Manchester City on Wednesday in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
It gives Solskjaer an opportunity to win his first trophy as the Red Devils manager.
Meanwhile, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has confirmed he is working on his attacking play in training.
“I do work on it,” he said, when asked about getting more goals and assists.
“The staff are helping me do that all the time in training. They like me to go up and link with the attack, when I can.”
He has also opened up on how Bruno Fernandes helps him.
“Bruno helps everyone – on and off the pitch,” explained the full-back. “He tells me before the game what he thinks I should do and which positions he thinks I should get into when he gets the ball, and where I should be.
“He has done it with the other players, and I can see that, along with the impact that he has made.
“When I scored my goal, he said he couldn’t believe I could shoot! That goal there was to show him!”
