Piers Morgan unleashes fury on GMB viewer over Kate Garraway criticism: 'Go f**k yourself'

Piers Morgan, 55, unleashed fury on a Twitter troll after they aired their conspiracy views about Kate Garraway’s husband Derek Draper. Fans of the Good Morning Britain host have been following her family’s harrowing story since the hospitalisation of her husband back in March.

The former lobbyist contracted coronavirus and has been in hospital ever since, now the longest surviving patient of Covid in the UK.

But he’s not out of the woods yet, now battling a series of health problems caused on by the virus, and Kate has remained brave for their children throughout the horrific ordeal.

She has appeared on GMB numerous times to update viewers on his progress and it’s been an emotional rollercoaster for many who are invested in his speedy recovery.

However, someone claimed that Kate was exaggerating his health issues and proposed there is a conspiracy behind it, believing the details “don’t add up”.

And they soon got the full fury of Piers’ wrath; a force of anger that no one wishes to be on the recieving end of.

The “disgusting” response from the troll came after the controversial star criticised all who are “whining” about the second lockdown.

He tweeted: “When I hear people whining about wearing a mask, or not being able to get lashed with 20 mates every night, I also think of my friend Kate Garraway’s extraordinary courage, resilience & dignity in the face of unbearable heartache.

“And I say to the whiners: shut up.”

After being ambushed by many, including fans of Kate and others who had family members who have been affected by coronavirus, Piers weighed in on the debate and it was quite a clap back to say the least.

“You disgusting piece of trash,” he snarled, defending his pal.

“If you had even an ounce of Kate’s decency, courage & dignity then I would bother to engage you further.

“But you don’t, so go f**k yourself.”
