Premier League deadline day done deals: Man Utd looking to seal three transfers by 11pm

Premier League teams have been busy all summer with the transfer window seeing Chelsea spend heavily – but it is Manchester United likely to do the most business before the market closes at 11pm this evening. Having added Donny van de Beek, the Red Devils also want to sign Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles, Ousmane Dembele and maybe even more today.

Fresh from their 6-1 loss to Tottenham on Sunday, United will hope to lighten the mood at Old Trafford with some more new arrivals.

And Cavani and Telles are both in Manchester to complete deals while United are keen to bring in a new right-sided winger with Dembele an alternative to Jadon Sancho.

While Everton, having had an excellent summer so far, are keen to add centre-back Ben Godfrey from Norwich to their ranks to complete a brilliant last couple of months for the club.

Elsewhere Arsenal remain linked to defenders, Chelsea like the look of Declan Rice and Liverpool fans clamour for a new back-up goalkeeper after a 7-2 loss to Aston Villa yesterday.

Premier League clubs can only complete international transfers until 11pm tonight – though they can then do deals with EFL clubs until October 16.

Express Sport is on hand to cover every done deal completed on deadline day in England’s top flight.
