Victor Gao from the China National Association of International Studies warned Donald Trump that the US needs to come to terms with the reality that China will become larger and more impactful than the US. He claimed that the exponential growth of China cannot be stopped and will be 15 times larger than the US. His comments come as President Trump has issued sanctions on Beijing.
Speaking to Channel 4 news, Victor Gao said: “China will continue to rise and eventually the US will need to come to terms with the reality of a China which may be larger and more impactful than the US in about 10 to 15 times.
“This is a mega-trend, no one can stop it, no one can reverse it.”
He added: I do not know what will happen between now and November 3.
“I think the US will be cursed if Trump wins, it will be cursed if Trump loses and there will be great turmoil is the US between now and January 21.

“Be it, Trump or Biden, China need to take each one of them on as he is.”
The expert noted the US is its worst enemy.
It comes as China said on Friday it would take “reciprocal measures” against the US after Washington imposed sanctions on senior Chinese officials over alleged human rights abuses against the Uighur Muslim minority.
Beijing described the new US sanctions as “deeply detrimental” to mutual relations, already strained by differences over China’s handling of the novel coronavirus outbreak and its tightening grip on Hong Kong.
Zhao said: “In light of these wrong actions, China will impose reciprocal measures on U.S. officials and organizations that have displayed egregious behaviour on human rights in relation to Xinjiang affairs.
“We urge the US to correct this wrong decision. If the U.S. continues to proceed, China will take firm countermeasures.”
Washington’s sanctions were imposed under the Global Magnitsky Act, which allows the U.S. government to target human rights violators worldwide by freezing any U.S. assets, banning U.S. travel and prohibiting Americans from doing business with them.
Sanctions were also imposed on Zhu Hailun, deputy secretary of the regional legislative body, the Xinjiang’s People’s Congress; Wang Mingshan, the director and Communist Party secretary of the Xinjiang Public Security Bureau; and the former party secretary of the bureau, Huo Liujun.
