Josh Gad Reunites The Goonies Cast For Live Stream Monday — Don’t Miss It, Watch Live Streaming Online!

“Goonies Never Say Die!” and now, thanks to Frozen’s Josh Gad, the full cast of the hit movie will join together for a live stream! The Goonies’ cast reunion is in honor of the movie’s 35th anniversary and will be a charitable event for The Center For Disease Philanthropy. Released on June 7, 1985, The Goonies has lived on to become a cult classic and a multi-generational childhood favorite. The reunion takes place Monday, April 27, 2020, at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET and will be held on Josh Gad’s official YouTube channel. Joining the stream will be Corey Feldman (Mouth), Sean Astin (Mikey), Kerri Green (Andy), Ke Huy Quan (Data) Martha Plimpton (Stef), Jeff Cohen (Chunk) and Josh Brolin (Brand). There will be additional surprise guests who will be revealed during the show.

Sean Astin, who played Mikey, spoke to Josh Gad who had a brilliant idea to reunite the full cast. He shared an announcement on his official Twitter account where it subsequently went viral. Josh Gad shared the following with his announcement.

There is one movie that defines my childhood. One movie that defines my personality. One movie that defines me. Tomorrow, please join me at 9 AM PT/12:00 PT EST in support of #TheCenterForDisasterPhilanthropy as I reunite the ENTIRE CAST of #TheGoonies youtu.be/A6uYRTCUNlk.”

The reunion is first in a series by Josh Gad titled “Reunited Apart” and fans are on cloud 9 waiting to see the Goonies gather together in one place.

You may watch The Goonies reunion live stream on YouTube at Josh Gad’s official channel on the website or in the video player below. There will be a live chat panel so fans may chat with other fans. It’s unclear whether the cast will take fan questions, but it seems likely that it may occur; however, due to an expected large turnout, the chat may scroll by too quickly for anyone to see many individual questions.

To kick things off, Sean Astin recited Mikey’s Troy’s Bucket monologue and fans were thrilled.

Corey Feldman has been promoting his hard-hitting documentary (My) Truth: The Rape Of 2 Coreys and shared on Twitter that it was nice to join the cast for something light-hearted and fun during these trying times.
