Jodie Turner-Smith Jokes About Being A ‘Milk Factory’ After Welcoming Baby Girl With Joshua Jackson

Queen & Slim star Jodie Turner-Smith and her husband – Dawson’s Creek alum Joshua Jackson – welcomed their first child together last week. The couple are now the parents of a baby girl, and this weekend Turner-Smith updated her fans on her life as a new mom.

On Saturday, Turner-Smith took a short break to post a pic on her Instagram Story that showed her relaxing while wearing a black nursing bra. On top of the pic, the 33-year-old wrote: “Mum=Milk factory till further notice.”

Turner-Smith was also wearing a new gold necklace that she received from Ariel Gordon Jewelry that reads “PARENT.”

Neither Turner-Smith nor Jackson have posted any pics of their newborn, and they haven’t shared any details, like the baby’s gender, name, or stats. However, before Turner-Smith gave birth, she said in a post on International Women’s Day that she was having a girl by referring to the baby as “she.”

“Favourite moments with baby,” the actress wrote in the caption of an Instagram video that showed her stomach moving as the baby kicked.“Can you see her dancing in there? Every time I try to record she stops.”

Even though Turner-Smith and Jackson haven’t shared any details, their reps did confirm that their baby had arrived.

“Both mother and baby are happy and healthy,” their reps told People magazine on April 21. Two days later, the British actress simply wrote on Twitter: “I’m a mother!” She later thanked her fans for their congratulatory messages.

A few days before the baby’s arrival, Turner-Smith posted a nude photo on Instagram to show off her baby bump, and she wrote about her “fantastic voyage” into motherhood. She wrote that she would never forget how pregnancy felt, and now she won’t soon forget how it looked.

Jodie Turner-Smith first revealed she was pregnant when she stepped out with Joshua Jackson in January wearing a form-fitting black dress. Jackson also dished in a March interview that he knew he and his wife would have a baby girl because his “family doesn’t really have boys.” The Little Fires Everywhere star explained that his extended family is about “85 to 90 percent female.”
