James Jordan and Ola Jordan have been extremely open about their fertility struggles, but after three years, the former Strictly Come Dancing professionals announced last year they would be expecting their first child together. Today, they took to their individual Instagram accounts and revealed the arrival of their little girl.
The newest addition to the Jordan family arrived on Thursday according to hellomagazine.com, but the couple shared their happy news on their respective social media accounts, proudly posting the first snapshot of their baby daughter.
“She’s here and she is perfect,” wrote Ola, 37 which accompanied a photo of her old hands with her daughter.
While Jame’s image showed his hand cupping his daughter’s feet with the caption reading: “I’m the happiest man in the world #Daddy.”
Following her arrival, the couple told HELLO! magazine: “Our lives are finally complete, we now have the family we’ve waited so long for.”

Fans and fellow celebrities flocked to the comments, offering well-wishes and congratulations.
Strictly pro Neil Jones commented: “Congratulations” while Loose Women panellist and fellow Dancing on Ice class of 2019 alumni Saira Khan added: “Congratulations darling. So proud of you and Ola. Sending you all our love and best wishes.”
Zoe Ball also wrote: “Oh my goodness congratulations mumma xx” on Ola’s post.
Emmerdale star Lisa Riley replied: “Love to you BOTH. But mostly your new bundle of joy.”
It comes after the pair spoke about the struggles they endured to try and concieve.
“I would love to be a mum with all my heart and I just thought it would happen naturally,” Ola told HELLO! a year ago.
“James is also desperate to have babies and I just wish it could have happened by now. That’s the one gift I would love to give him.
“I guess I just thought, like most women, that I could choose when the time was right for me; that I could have my career and then have a baby when it felt right. But for us it just hasn’t happened like that.”
James and Ola have been married for more than 15 years, and their dancing careers made it difficult to create a life fit enough for a family.
